The time had come, planning and bags packed on bikes we took a train to Susa for the start of this adventure.
Anticipation was high and the moment we turned the first pedals it felt good.
We headed for our pass and entrance into France a first time for me cycling, it only felt right to enter via the Alps, a place we both love to be.The climb was gentle and although still shut from winter passable with the road being cleared of winter stone fall to open in the next few days, as we rose into the sky my heart raced, super excited with the route ahead,already my senses in overload and snapping shots for my journal at every moment.
As we dropped through the Valley to Briançon the way this has been preserved of its natural appearance is perfect in a world where we seem adoment to destroy these kind of places.
Soon we arrived in Briançon and a date with a pizza was waiting, amazing start 🚵♂️🔗.
