On the second stage we follow a narrow country lane from Binn via Giessen to Fäld, always above the river Binna. In the small village of Fäld you can take a rest in one of the inns, before you make your way again. From Fäld you follow the old mule track. On your way to the Binntalhütte, the landscape slowly changes and green meadows become mountain meadows and then barren scree fields. From the Binntalhütte you can enjoy a great view down into the valley and the surrounding peaks. The hut was originally a border post, as the Italian border is only a short walk away.Planned as a day tour, you can take the path from the Binntalhütte back to Fäld and drive from there by post bus to your accommodation.
