May 23, 2025,Harz Tour 19 - Zorge HWN 164, 165, 90, 160, 58
A bit of Harz Mountains again. A spontaneously "planned" weekend took me to my second favorite hiking area. My @KleeneSchnecke was along for the ride, so my hiking plans were a bit more modest.

Yesterday's arrival involved a little warm-up with two short stamping trips (also a total of 10 km).

At the end of my weekend I went on another little tour. Who knows when the next one will be.

Showing Translation

On this stamp tour around Zorge we were able to get a total of 7 stamps.
Unfortunately, the tour was mainly on wide paths and the weather was rather cloudy.

The tour started in Zorge, there is a hiking car park right next to the whiskey distillery 😁

Something was wrong with Komoot at the beginning because the route was shown as over 30 km. On the way back, I was wondering why we were already at the turnoff down to Wieda, where our car was, and …

The area around the border path remains etched in my memory, a place steeped in history in our homeland.
In spring-like weather, I set out on this strenuous hike, which led over the Kreuztal Cliff, the Brockenblick, and up to the Roter Schuss.
So! I'd definitely do it again in a similar format.

Showing Translation

Wonderful hiking weather, and not too busy early in the morning. It's a shame that another stamp was missing from the box (at the new location of 163), but the number is noted, and the stamp counts 😎
