March 26, 2022,Rübeland - Elbingerode mit HWN 89,38,39,42,88
Today's tour started at the Rübeland train station. First we walked a short distance along the road in the direction of the outdoor pool and then on a narrow zigzag path up to the stamping point ♟Schornsteinberg (HWN 89). From here you have a beautiful view of the village and on the other side of the valley you can already …

Today I took the train to Wernigerode and then the bus to Elbingerode, the starting point of my hike. I collected a total of five stamps (#harzerwandernadel): #39, #42, #88, #89, and #38.

By the end of the tour, at 25°-27°C, it was too warm and humid🥵 for me to hike. However, I was also glad that I had been …

There is a rifle festival in Elbingerode this weekend, but we didn't notice that much of it 😉.
Rather, we enjoyed the varied environment there 💚.

Almost everything was there today: Beautiful green meadows, dams, forests and the Bode 😃, with sun and occasionally clouds. We were still hoping for some rain, but you can't have everything.

Elbingerode on a Saturday lunchtime in February: No place to have a meal. Everything was still closed or closed. So don't forget the food!

Thanks again to @Sandra Heeren for running ahead😄Great round, thank you 👍🏼

Anyone who likes to collect Harz hiking pin stamps could hike 7 of them on this beautiful tour.
The Königshütte waterfall was the most beautiful stamping spot for me today.
I have to say, however, that a large part of this tour took place in thick fog and so I missed every beautiful view 😂

Arrived in Elbingerode we went to the Galgenberg, further to the Schornsteinberg with a beautiful view, then we went to the Hohen Kleef with a fantastic view over Rübeland and the Harz Mountains. We went back to the car via the Susenburg to the Felswerke opencast mine. A really nice tour!
