Pentecost offers a lot of "time at a time" to hike in the Harz Mountains. 56 km in three stages from Walkenried via Stöberhai, Wieda and Zorge with 12 HWN stamps. Sometimes it helps to stay close to the route during the overnight stays. "Where there is no hotel, there is often heaven" says an old Chinese

    1. I'm just stamping leftovers and today the Scharfenstein was a goal. A beautiful hiking trail leads there from the large Kaltes Tal car park near Wernigerode. On the further way to the poor people's mountain, I paid a visit to the bank donated by the "Official Facebook group of the Harzer Wandernadel

    1. The Alte Warte near Barbis was worth a wandering stamp box in 2015. A visit is still worthwhile today.

    1. A varied 23 km round with 12 stamps!

Bad Lauterberg is the oldest Kneipp spa in northern Germany and is still intensively committed to the Kneipp tradition today. The stamp rally was launched on the occasion of Sebastian Kneipp's 200th birthday. A great idea!

    1. I usually associate the Köte Schindelkopf with a visit to the Hanskuehnenburg. I've been there in winter on cross-country skis, so a separate round for the Köte. First past the vantage point, which was already a hiking stamp box and then up towards Köte. A beautiful ascent, always associated with views

    1. In this Kaiserrunde I didn't manage to include the Goedeckenplatz in one of the rounds. Next time again together with the big tubers :-)

    1. So far I have always hiked up from the Innerstetalsperre to the Lageswarte - a long and steep climb at the end. Today from Sternplatz: Relaxed hiking with only a few meters in altitude. And meanwhile also with great prospects, after many a path has been cut in the forest.

Two springs were on the way

    1. Perhaps the most unusual hiking trail in the Harz Mountains: Easy climbs, metal safeguards, a ridge path, an extraordinary landscape - these are the ingredients for this unusual route in the north of the Harz Mountains.
