The Höhenvieh trail is a popular circuit in which the most beautiful stamping point 2020 on the Kapitelsberg can be easily incorporated. In the film there is the round in winter - the critters are of course in the stable, as the brocken farmer in the farm shop told us.
Tanne seems to be an insider tip for cross-country skiers. Lots of trails and hardly any people.

In the book "Hiking in the Harz - With 222 stamps to the hiking emperor" you are practically live, how to become a hiking emperor. All hikes, long-distance hiking trails, many tips and small detours to all stamping points are compiled here - in the order in which they were hiked.

Snow circuit south of Wernigerode. Not spectacular, but a different way to the Volkmarskeller that nobody else takes. As a result, it went over barely visible paths and through deep snow. Nice.Short film about the tour: Recommendation:

Nice way to the stamping point 114 from a completely different side than the classic way. Many meters in altitude. A dream in winter. The sidecum is a particularly beautifully decorated hut - always with fresh biscuits on the table. Super.

Who would like to go on a winter hike? Along the Lautenthaler Kunstgraben it goes through the beautiful winter forest.
On the way back then pass the Prinzenlaube (105), the Grumbacher Teich (113) and the Maaßener Gaipel (107) - 20 km are already together. A wonderful hike, as I always emphasize in the film ;-)
The WasserWanderWeg 13 is the basis of the hike and I also took the WWW 10 with me, which is on the way back and is 300 m long. I have developed the route into a circular hike and built in 3 HWN stamps.

The WasserWanderWeg 4 should serve as the basis for this hike. Due to snow flurries and other factors, however, it was only a rough basis :-) Nice corner where several web sites start.
Instead it became a snow flurry film.

The Stapenberg! Fear mountain of many stamp hikers. You can take a relaxed walk from Wernigerode - but why? So up this mountain again (yes, it's steep, but not that long).
Then an unusual round to the other stamps, which was very beautiful and lonely - despite this well-traveled area.

      Information about the current tour:
The circular route at the Granetalsperre is paved, so it is more suitable for skaters and cyclists. Nevertheless, the mighty dam is worth a visit, not least to collect the 110 stamp. Then it goes up to the Steinberg Tower (111). I think that's a particularly beautiful tower.
The way back over parts of the Försterstieg is surprisingly beautiful, the single trail is worthwhile.
