The densely forested reservoir has the flair of a Scandinavian lake. From the dam you can look over the entire storage area. On the other side, you look down almost 20 meters. In addition to the stamp office of the Harzer hiking nobles, there is also a bank to rest here.

The Trogfurter Brücke, also known as the (Große) Trogfurt (h) er Brücke , was a historical monument near Königshütte in today's Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt. It was built as a stone bridge in 1739/40, blown up in 1945 and replaced by a modern bridge in the same year. The bridge became superfluous after the Königshütte dam (Königshütte transfer dam) was completed in 1956.
