From Thalkirchen, we first went via Pullach (past the BND) to Baierbrunn (with a fantastic maypole) and then to the beer garden🍻 at Schäftlarn Monastery. There, under a beautiful blue sky, we had something to refuel (and we could probably have even driven over the Alps). We returned along the Isar River 🌊 and the Grosshesseloher Bridge, passing Hellabrunn Zoo.
