we actually thought there might be a promising tour:
Arriving from Calw by train: in Calw everything is ok, in Horb the elevators are so tight that not even a bicycle can fit in - although bicycles are not excluded both on the train and directly at the elevator. I'll leave it that way ... <shake head> ...
Otherwise: the weather was great, bakeries were open on the way 🥨, Nagold was, as always (Hotel Alte Post), super delicious and lively like no other.
The Nagold cycle path: yes, beautiful valleys, here and there, but too often too close to the 🚗Strasse, simply: nothing special, easy to ride - yes, but that was it too. It's a shame ...
But there was still a "highlight": a group had plenty of fun bathing in the Nagold - what there is still ...

Pure industrial culture - almost too "puristic" - a little more accompanying information or boards would be good. Or you can make something out of the elements, old / classic "water - air - fire" or modern "+ work, money / capital". Still worth seeing and interesting what an effort was required.
Small thing on the edge from the category of what has already been made of steel: Tutankhamun (1332 to 1323 BC) had noticed a special dagger.
Conclusion: worth a trip / visit.

Today we first took the train from Saarbrücken (actually Burbach) to Blieskastel. The platforms were easy to reach by bike (Burbach, Saarbrücken, Blieskastel).
Then we went back to Saarbrücken on the Blies cycle path - super easy to ride and various opportunities for a break - which we also used (Cote Canal).
Pure cycling time about 3 hours.
