About Frank

The weather surprised us again - positively. Dry and sunny - perfect!

The two trails at the Kronburg and to Landeck were a very nice change on the ride along the Inn.

The trail from Giggl is really demanding. Even more so when it's still a little damp.

From sea in a permanent up and down costs grains.

      Nice

The weather on the first day of the TA from Füssen to Lake Como was much better than feared. Only light drizzle and high fog accompanied and from time to time.

The ascent to the Marienbrücke and on to the Schützensteig is steep but easy to drive. The climb itself was an S1 that was easy to drive in these

Started over the Söllbach in the late afternoon to escape the heat. The first kilometers are very pleasant to drive. From the junction towards Hirschberg it gets steeper and steeper. As soon as you get to the huts at around 1,400m, the driving is more or less over. A few meters are always possible across

Small trail delicacies from Obereggen to Deutschnhofen. The Breitenbachtal was wonderfully shady but also dusty. partly really steep.

Then briskly along the Etsch cycle path to just before Mezzocorona for a coffee stop.

The ascent to Fai della Paganella in the midday heat made the soles of our feet glow

From Arabba easily pedaled up the Pordoi until just before the pass, a beautiful trail turns off to the Padon. The Padon is a dog and knows no mercy...

The view of the Marmolada was gigantic. On the other hand, the view of the Fedaia reservoir was sobering - almost no water.

      A colorful mix of asphalt

A day of mishaps - and still beautiful.

The ascent to the Ritjoch is always steep. Then the beautiful Armentara meadows and Heiligkreuz with the imposing Kreuzkofel group.

Down to St. Cassian with beautiful trails and up to the Prolongia. From there a bit confused on new trails (uphill!?) To Arabba.

Roll in easily from Aicha to the Rienzi Gorge. There bumpy downhill before it partly pushed uphill with many mosquitoes to the castle. Now we are awake and sweating....

From here it is pleasantly rolling up to the Rodenecker Alm. A beautiful 360 degree panorama awaits us.

      Only a few trails downhill.

From Steinach, parallel to the railway line, a new alternative at the beginning. Up to Obernberg then made some Hm on asphalt. Then the steep ascent begins with pushing passages up to ....

Arrived there, many MTBers cavorted today. Originally we wanted to go as far as the Portjoch - but time had advanced

Quite a long day for a first day of a Transalp. Lots of sensational impressions and a 65-curve single trail! Wow!

Started in the mountaineering village of Vent in the Ötztal and via the Martin-Busch-Hütte up to the Similaun-Hütte (Day 1). Everything is mobile up to the Martin-Busch-Hütte (with steep sections). From then on, a change from driving and pushing. Finally, the bike is shouldered to arrive at the Similaun
