1st stage from Nuremberg to Sulzbach-Rosenberg done. A very nice route with some nice places and small towns. Lauf an der Pegnitz and Hersbruck were very nice to mention a few places. We took a short break in Lauf and had lunch in Hersbruck.

After our early start 🥱 in Peine at 4:38 a.m., we went on the Five Rivers Cycle Path today with lots of sun 🤩!
Start in Nuremberg along the pretty Pregnitz - all this is reminiscent of Maschsee and Oker 😉.
The middle part of today's stage offered excellent paths, but a little little charm.

Unfortunately, an error had crept in when planning the route. Komoot sent me on the wrong route to my holiday accommodation (Klein-Haus 12a)🤔. That's why I made this little loop on the last meter🙁... I had to struggle with my 8-speed Shimano hub gears when tackling some of the climbs from Etzelwang; but it all worked out fine 🙂.
