After 2 days of continuous rain, when it was only drizzling, we went on a short hike to the Birk. It was so amazing! Hardly anyone out and about, great light (sorry, the photos from your cell phone are never that great) and the whole Konik herd within reach. Very, very nice and only got a little wet feet 😁

A shortened circular route via the Geltinger Birk forest, which bypasses the villages but still showcases the most beautiful features. Do you know Kreten? A plum variety that grows there (jelly is available at the worthwhile kiosk). Charlotte windmill, fantastic scenery, and rich birdlife. Great!
