Hiking

The Geltinger Noor used to be an arm of the Baltic Sea. Then this was dyked and the resulting lagoon was pumped out. Until 1971, nature conservation took precedence over agriculture and everything went back: clean water, this is how the valuable salt marshes in the Noor are now created. But they are still 1.30m below normal zero.
