Clouds were forecast for today. This actually suited the colors of the Morsum cliffs quite well: the sand here has rarely been this reddish. We walked along the pond to the Hindenburgdamm causeway, and then on to Morsum and back. The hike was invigorating in the brisk eight-degree weather.
