            The Morsum Cliff is an impressive natural highlight in the east of Sylt. The cliff is about 1,800 meters long and 21 meters high and is characterized by its unique geological diversity. The different layers of earth, including dark mica clay, red limonite sand, white kaolin sand and brown-yellow boulder clay, give the cliff its characteristic red and white coloring, making it a geological jewel.

            The Morsum Cliff is one of the oldest nature reserves in Schleswig-Holstein and offers a variety of flora and fauna.
