But. Unfortunately, this enchanting Hainich round had to end for today. As a consolation there was a special ice cream in the ice cream parlor at Thamsbrück ...Today I was with Heike again on a Hainich tour chosen by her ... Entry at the hiking parking lot Feenstieg ... from here it went first in the direction of Weberstädter Kreuz and on to Düsteroder Teich to the Forsthaus Thiemsburg, where both the information center Hainich and gastronomy is also stationed. The latter is currently covered by a live grill service, which provided us with delicious sausages and roasts. We continued along the stone ditch back to the parking lot with fountain of youth etc. interesting highlights. There would have been no end for those who would not have found their way out of the fairy world through the tricky labyrinth ... But we followed the light as instructed and found ourselves at the exit, so that we found our way back to the parking lot.

Today we cautiously (quote Bodo: ".. step by step ...") ventured an excursion beyond Thuringia's borders, still "in FlowerPower, as you can see ;-)
In Saxony-Anhalt> Burgenlandkreis> near Freyburg an der Unstrut, a huge nature conservation and geo area extends around the Rödel and the Toten valleys, one of the most orchid-rich areas in our country.
Our path led us from the P in Balgstädt non-stop to the Rödel, a "high plateau" of a special kind. With a little luck, wild horses run across here. On the way you have some SUPER vantage points in the area, to the Zscheiplitz monastery and to Neuchâtel. After crossing the plateau you can literally immerse yourself in the orchid meadows ... of course that takes longer, laughs.
Back in the direction of Balgstädt you touch the ALTEN WEINBERG. In Balgstädt there is actually a huge chic cafe (coffee roaster Moness) at the western end of the village. This had probably closed, so we were happy to be satisfied with the regional farm shop and each packed a bottle of red wine.
Even if the photos of some plant specimens have not become so great, we have been able to discover various baby herbs as well as SOGAR fly orchid and spider orchid and bee orchid :) :) and expanses full of meadow sage 💚 and others ... This landscape is simply worth a recommendation!
Unfortunately we were limited in time, but we took a deep breath and a huge feast for the eyes and definitely want to come here again.

... with Christian Morgenstern ... spring ...Like a lover of his girl's head,
the sweet head with its world of happiness,
takes in his two poor hands,
so I grasp your spring head, nature,
your exuberantly sweet may head,
in my poor, simple human hands,
and, deeply excited, I sink silently into you,
while you look me in the eye, smiling
and make your confession:
My deepest song is silent with so much beauty. How apt!

Hainich ... do you need words?
Barely.... and it was an oriole! we heard him near the Hünenteich. I had a conversation with him, laugh. Thanks for pointing, ranger on duty!
Otherwise we had many other bird species, trees making music, a little dormouse, tadpoles, little fish and frogs, forest ants, lots of insects and butterflies and a carefree deer.I was on the way with komootin Heike, whose acquaintance I am very pleased with; we had a great hike!

Spontaneous decision around 11 today with Marion for the "Müllershausen Maiwurscht" :) and homemade lemonade!
Great weather with a little rain - care for skin & hair.
We started in Bad Berka at the Coudrayhaus, where an exhibition on history can be admired in "normal times" and concerts and readings take place from time to time.
From here we could once again walk along the Waldessaum via Saalborn, then turn left uphill towards Casparibank-Kaitsch. We just completed the way back past Buchfart via Töpferweg.
We finally visited the new pendant seating group (on the black ash) on the Töpferweg and took the MTB inspection tour;) Everything was great!
We have partially completed the Goethewanderweg, DreiTürmeweg, Geist-Weg, ....@ FahnerHöhenRadler: praise, everything calm on the pottery path :), I also buy a drink for the AfterCarolaRosenbergParty@Nordpol: the extra-beautiful long bench for you :)
