Our tour today went to Heraklion.
Heraklion is located on the north coast of Crete and is the largest city in Crete with around 170,000 inhabitants.

On our tourist tour we had 3.5 hours for Hiraklion. Parts of the fortifications can still be seen and the harbor ... very beautiful. Otherwise a cloudy, noisy, full, more modern city. Time was enough. 😉 Visit for 1 day, definitely, but nothing for vacation.
But whoever keeps it open will always find something special. 👍👍👍
