I covered the Sonnalpin - Zugspitze summit route with the glacier cable car, the ridge path was still covered in snow and therefore closed. But I really wanted to go to the summit cross. I will make up for the missing stretch later 😁

Day 2 of the Zugspitze tour starts for us at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast. Fresh bread, cheese, sausage, homemade hummus, jam, muesli, coffee and tea... the breakfast at the Reintalangerhütte is sufficient and rich.

We leave at 07:15 to have enough time buffer in the ascent (after all, my father is not the youngest and fastest anymore).
