The house was originally part of the farmstead at Alte Burgstraße 1 and was built around the middle of the 18th century. The rounded shape of the oven, topped with a lean-to roof, is clearly visible on the rear gable end. The interior, including the oven and forge, is essentially unchanged. One of the many West Wall bunkers that were blown up. You can still see a little bit of what it was originally built like.

The parish church of St. Nicholas was built in 1877-78. The high altar from the 17th century is particularly worth seeing. In addition, the "painter priest" Christoph März, who is well-known in the region, created a ceiling painting in the choir around 1900. During the Christmas season, there is also a root crib to admire.
