The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the parish church took place on May 19, 1905, and the solemn blessing took place on October 1 of the following year. The church was ready for occupancy and use. It is dedicated to St. Quirinus, first of all, and to Sts. Firminus and Ferredus. The feast of the church's patron saint is celebrated on the first Sunday in May. From here you have a beautiful view of the baroque Malberg Castle.

The small park near the monastery church of St. Thomas is very idyllic. You can relax and unwind here. On the last section you have a wonderful view of the Kyll valley 🏞️
