Conveniently located at the entrance to the Prüm spring is a shelter with information about the Prüm river, among other things.

The modern observation tower, approximately 30 meters high, was built in 2014. From its platform, one can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of surrounding mountains such as the Hohe Acht, the Aremberg, the Michelsberg, and the Nürburgring when visibility is good. Information panels explain the directions of the view and make orientation easier.

I didn't take any pictures, but it's still a good detour around the busy B265.

On the Way of St. James from Cologne to Trier, pilgrims or hikers reach this church in Ormont, already located in Rhineland-Palatinate. The church is dedicated to Saint Margaret (also: Margaretha). The vestibule is freely accessible, and a pilgrim's stamp is also available there. A glass door allows a view into the nave.
