The gooseies in the shape of the Greek figure Leda. To be marveled at directly on the banks of the Rhine in Mohnheim near the MohnBerges.
The well-known artist and former rector of the Düsseldorf Art Academy, Lüpertz, turned the goose girl into a "Leda", a maiden who, according to Greek mythology, was seduced by Zeus in the disguise of a swan.

Leda by Markus Lüpertz now looks directly at the Rhine at the Rheinpark. The spot on the Rhine is exposed for the statue and is also often mocked as a goose lily. The interpretation of the Greek model may not really be perceived as beautiful. But a certain fascination emanates from her.
