The former railway combined the Bf. Blankenheim forest with the Rhine at Remagen. In the lower section between Ahrbrück and Remagen the track is reactivated. Only the Ortsdruchfahrt Blankenheim is uncomfortable to drive (steep, street), since one has renounced on a reconstruction of the route.
