The Catholic parish church of St. Martin was built from 1270 onwards over a period of around 200 years. Particularly significant is the high altar created by Hans von Worms in 1483, which is considered the first carved monochrome altarpiece in Germany and the largest of its kind in the German-speaking world. The furnishings also include a baptismal font from 1464 and historical choir stalls. A special feature of the organ is the so-called "Riesling register", which opens a hidden door with two bottles of Riesling and wine glasses when activated.
