The Brauereigasthof Krug is located in Franconian Switzerland on the old trade route between Nuremberg and Bayreuth. Beer has been brewed in the Krug family brewery in Breitenlesau since 1834. A total of six types of beer are produced here, as well as an amber cyclist and a Gaas-Seidla. The specialty of the house is the dark lager, which is valued not only in Upper Franconia, but far beyond, and of course you drink it. So I could enjoy the beer on one of my hikes in Merano on the Passer promenade.
