The ringing consisted of the large or communion bell (75 hundredweight), the sermon bell (45 hundredweight), the prayer bell (23 hundredweight) and the baptismal or death bell (13 hundredweight). All bells bear Bible verses next to the names of the donors.When these had to be removed in October 2011 due to their poor general condition, they were given a place of honor in front of the church.
