On the occasion of the 125th birthday of Erwin Barth (November 28, 1880 - July 10, 1933), the area in front of the Lietzenseepark on Kaiserdamm at the corner of Witzlebenstrasse and Wundtstrasse was named after the former garden director Erwin Barth on November 28, 2005.
