In the middle of the city but in nature. I like to use the bike.

The 'Knüppeldamm' leads over many kilometers from the back door of Schlossgarten Charlottenburg to Ruhleben.

This is the "Knüppeldamm" which begins at Wiesendamm in Ruhleben and leads along the Spree on one side and garden colonies on the other side and ends at Schlossgarten Charlottenburg.

A quiet, partly narrow, in summer also like overgrown shore walk in the countryside, isolated by the railway embankment and by the Spree. I met no pedestrian on the section, but (at the end of the day) many commuters on the bike, who probably wanted to go home quickly.
It was not a problem and people were considerate, but the section was not really relaxed by that.
