This side of the bridge overlooks Lake Herthasee. On the other hand, the water is called Hubertussee. You can't swim in either of them, but there are some Riverside paths on which to walk. However, there is only a short public section at Lake Herthasee.
There is also a lot of fishing in the lakes.

The lake is part of the Grunewaldseegürtel. It is connected to the Hubertussee by a tongue of water. The cover picture shows the Bismarck Bridge, which is between the two lakes.

It is one of the four artificially created lakes. At the Hasensprung and the Koenigsalleebrücke, green areas open up to the Koenigssee and Herthasee, which, like the Dianasee and Hubertussee, are artificial in origin - unlike the Halensee in the north and the Hundekehlesee in the south of the villa colony. The building site was very swampy.

Unbelievable almost everything you can find in Berlin outside of the hectic yet everything. Inhabited or abandoned villas, embassies, a small lake or a creek - very beautiful and quiet. Just go and see
