As part of the urban development promotion measure "Rehabilitation warehouse environment", the memorial stele designed by sculptor Lucia Torge from Schrobenhausen was erected on the former Ursensollen train station in 2014. It recalls the eventful history of the railway line from Amberg to Lauterhofen. Lucia Torge approached the subject by setting relief scenes in the stele: the signalman with whistle and trowel; the Hoibruck; Travelers, refugees and war wounded; the heavy work in the construction of the railway line. And at the top you can see an old passenger car, as surely many will remember. (Text on the homepage of the community Ursensollen)
