A tour of a Komoot post has brought us to Kirchenthumbach and the decommissioned plants for limestone extraction and lime production. Something different, but not less interesting.

From Illschwang there are many well-marked trails. Very beautiful area, with many great rock formations such as Kalmusfelsen, Bettelküche and beautiful forest trails.

The Hirschbachtal is a very nice area with many beautiful hiking trails. The Norissteig with its many caves and rocks is highly recommended.

Very nice tour, felt it is always uphill, but definitely worth seeing with unique vantage points. We recommend.

The Bitterbachschlucht is very beautiful, as well as the way along. The industrial museum in Lauf is also worth seeing.
