Today's tour was a small Ladin language course high above the Val Badia. The round up to the Kreuzspitze gives a lasting impression of the beauty of the Wengen Valley. Soft mats and quiet mountain villages alternate with breathtaking views of the great Dolomites such as Zehnerkofel, Antonispitze and Heiligkreuzspitze. The glacier flank of the Marmolada builds up in the background, Piz Boè also plays a major role in this summit spectacle and the Peitlerkofel repeatedly pushes itself into the backdrop. On the other hand, the snow-covered south side of the Zillertal blocks the further view to the north. When stopping at the Ütia da Crusc, you will be pampered after a feast for the eyes from the kitchen according to all the rules of the art. The descent into the valley in the mild light of the late afternoon was a happy expiration of a beautiful day and the visually stunning finale of a great mountain holiday.

Today we caught dream weather again for this tour, which we know from previous vacations, but is always fascinating. It starts in Bad Bergfall above Olang. From 1320 m through the Langtal up steeply to the Lapadurscharte (Ju dles Slapadures) at 2252. It goes on a beautiful path with a view over Drei Zinnen, Seekofel and Peitlerkofel to the idyllic Hochalmsee, which glistens in the sun. In the meadows, the last edelweiss are looking towards the end of the flowering period. The summit cross of Piz da Peres (2507 m) is already building up in front of us. It would still be 30 minutes up, but today we are content with the beautiful view and climb very steeply from the Dreifingerscharte (Forc. Tre Dita / 2339 m) through a rubble channel and later also as a knee test through the forest to the Hotel Bad Bergfall. It should rain tomorrow. We deserve the rest day.

From the Falzarego pass road we took the chairlift up to the Rifugio Scoiattoli. The square in front of it was like a military camp. A friendly soldier prevented us from starting the tour for over half an hour because a helicopter was supposed to land. Finally it could start late. The detour to the Rif. We saved Nuvolau because a true migration of peoples made a pilgrimage to the top. From the Rif. In Nuvolau we were back in the mountain solitude ... until the motorbikes rattled loudly at the Passo di Giau. The tour around Nuvolau presents impressive rock scenery in the spectacular Dolomite landscape near Cortina d'Ampezzo. We couldn't get out of looking and marveling.
