The Emilfelsen and other bizarre rocks, rock towers and limestone cliffs are characteristic of the Frankenalb. The approximately 10m high rock is something for pleasure climbers with moderate difficulty levels.

The chapel, built in the 12th century, once belonged to Breitenstein Castle. The chapel is the only two-storey double chapel from the Romanesque era in the Upper Palatinate.
