The striking, square tower can be seen from afar. The foundation walls of the ruin go back to a hilltop castle from the 13th century, the powder tower was built in 1699. A beautiful high path leads to the ruin, from which you have a great view.

Simply follow the Jackobsweg from Spiez and you will come to the ruin. It is somewhat hidden behind bushes on the right.
