The striking, square tower can be seen from afar. The foundations of the ruins go back to a hilltop castle from the 13th century, the powder tower was built in 1699. The ruin leads to a beautiful mountain trail, from which one has a great view.

Simply follow the Jackobsweg from Spiez and you will come to the ruin. It is somewhat hidden behind bushes on the right.
