The kitchen garden is located between the orangery and the theater and was redesigned into a baroque pleasure garden in the run-up to the 2007 Federal Garden Show.
In the 17th century it served as a Reussian kitchen and pleasure garden in connection with the former residence/castle Osterstein of the Lords of Gera from the House of Reuss.
