If you want things to stay that way, you should vehemently oppose the construction of the "Rheinspange" (new autobahn between the A555 on the left bank of the Rhine and the A59 on the right bank of the Rhine) planned by car-savvy politicians. This new highway would cut right through the beautiful area heralded here and destroy it. For the people who live there and also for us racing cyclists.
