    Mountain biking

A simple and basic refuge shelter, not designed for overnight stays but rather for emergency use. You'll find the shelter on the north of the River Avon, near the stepping stones.

    Hiking

This is a refuge rather than a conventional bothy. It comprises just one small room for three to four people. The hut has no window, so bring candles or any other source of light. The inner core of the building is wooden but after a renovation by the MBA in 2011, is fully insulated and weathertight. The refuge is protected by a thick casing of granite boulders.
