The Enz, which flows into the Neckar, is created by the confluence of the Großer and Kleiner Enz near Calmbach north of Bad Wildbad. The Große Enz, in turn, is created by the confluence of the Kaltenbach and the Poppelbach near Enzklösterle-Gompelscheuer. Just a few meters next to this confluence, a small spring was found and called the Enzquelle. Such a symbolic place, if it is marked accordingly, definitely has a certain magic.

The listed Enzquelle, also called Enz-Ursprung, is the starting point of the Enztalradweg and a popular meeting place and destination. The spring was created with a retaining wall and offers seating and an information board. Since the summer of 2021, the new, handcrafted raft made of wood has been a visual highlight on the little wall of the spring tapping.
