Boppard chairlift

In May 1954 the "Boppard chairlift" went into operation, which was founded a year earlier by the brothers Oswald and Fridolin Krautkrämer, Heinrich Schweitzer, Willi Vogt and Franz Asprion as Bopparder Stuhlbahn GmbH. The chairlift covers a distance of 915 meters and 240 meters in altitude in a travel time of 20 minutes. The chairlift has 80 chairs and has been transporting bicycles from the valley to the mountain bike park since 2006. It is in operation from April 1 to October 31 and carries an annual average of around 80,000 passengers.
