    The castle can be reached via the east side of the mountain via steep but easy to walk stairs. The path then continues northwest over a degree where you can already use reasonably suitable footwear and freedom from giddiness. It's worth it!By the way: In the castle ruins there is a picnic area (table and benches).

    A visit is always worthwhile, the view is great and the way is a real kallorienkiller.
    If you do not want to or can not come by car, the National Park Railway (U28) from Sebnitz or Bad Schandau to the stop Goßdorf-Kohlmühle is also available.
