The Ageteplatte is a striking, steep rock plate on the ridge of the Rossmahd, a spur of the Säntis Ostgrats. Immediately next to it, there is a crossing that connects the two mountain inns Mesmer and Meglisalp. The path on the north side is somewhat exposed and steep in the upper, rocky part, but is very well secured and the path is also not extremely narrow.

Steep ascent or descent. However, the path is well secured and can be done very well with the appropriate footwear and the necessary caution.
