With around 30 reconstructed buildings from the Middle Ages, the historical park is the largest museum of its kind in the German-speaking world. In three settlement groups, for example, a Slavic nave, a tower hill castle with associated residential and auxiliary buildings and a large inn from the 9th - 13th century AD can be visited. The history park thus shows the historical development of a region that is shaped by the merging of the Bavarian population with the Slavic settlers.
