Wir - Volker & Helga - sind in unserer Freizeit am liebsten draußen unterwegs und erkunden dabei die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Zeitlich bedingt ist es dann meistens die nähere Umgebung. Allerdings zeichnen wir unsere üblichen abendlichen Runden in und um Vilseck nicht auf - wir teilen lieber unsere Neuentdeckungen mit euch.Meistens sind wir zu Fuß unterwegs und hin und wieder auch mit dem E-Bike. Was bei mir nie fehlen darf, ist ein Gerät mit dem man Fotos machen kann; entweder meine Kamera oder zur Not das Telefon. Irgendwie gibt es am Wegesrand immer etwas interessantes zu entdecken.

Wenn man sich nicht auf Safari in ferne Länder begeben kann oder mag, um all die schönen Tiere dieser Welt zu bewundern, für den bleibt der Zoo als Alternative. Einerseits sind die Tiere in freier Natur besser aufgehoben als im Zoo. Andererseits sind die Zoos dieser Welt in der Zwischenzeit zu so etwas wie der Arche Noah für vom Aussterben bedrohte Tiere geworden.

Nach dem gestrigen Regen wollten wir schnell mal in die Vilsauen schauen, um zu sehen, was sich so tut und ob es ggf. interessante Fotomotive gibt. In der Tat waren jede Menge Enten unterwegs. Darunter sogar eine Entenmutter mit neun Jungen. Es war einfach toll denen zuzusehen und das eine oder andere Foto zu schießen. Ich hatte noch ein paar weitere Motive im Kopf. Leider waren die nicht so umsetzbar, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte, da alles ganz schön zugewuchert ist und damit die Sicht verstellt. Dafür sind uns dann noch jede Menge Schnecken über den Weg "gelaufen". Alles in allem eine schöne Zeit in der Natur direkt vor der Haustür.
