The Erzquell-Stollen supplies the Erzquell Brewery Siegtal with great-tasting water, which flows through a four-kilometer pipe down into the valley. The spring water is free of minerals, germ-free and very soft and is therefore ideal for brewing beer. In 1902 the brewery took over the "Young Eichhorn" gallery, which was built in the 18th century, and renamed it.

The tunnel was driven about four kilometers into the mountain to get to the water, where the ore spring beer has been brewed since 1885.

Former mining tunnel for iron ore. Today the Erzquellbrauerei gets spring water from the tunnel. Good for a break, there are a few benches and tables
