Best Hikes to Erzquell Tunnel

Tips

  • The Erzquell-Stollen supplies the Erzquell Brewery Siegtal with great-tasting water, which flows through a four-kilometer pipe down into the valley. The spring water is free of minerals, germ-free and very soft and is therefore ideal for brewing beer. In 1902 the brewery took over the "Young Eichhorn" gallery, which was built in the 18th century, and renamed it.
