Short walk on the Lurzenbach. Start at the hiking car park. There is still a lot of snow up there. Actually we wanted to run to the Giebelberg but the weather was too rainy for us, so we only stretched our feet for a short time.

Yesterday I did a spring tour, today another winter tour ☃️. It snowed well last night.
Made a short home round to the Erzquell-Stollen. ... naturregion-sieg.de/poi-details/17061/erzquell-stollen/details

Today we went along the old Poststrasse from Elkhausen in the direction of Wissen, halfway down into the valley and back through the Brölbachtal on the old mine path, in which a mine train used to transport iron ore. The old Poststrasse offers many delightful views of the Siegtal. Around 1820, the route on the top of the mountain was a main connection route for stagecoaches between Neuwied and Siegen. Today the botanical hiking trail of the community of Wissen runs there, which provides information about historical events and nature with many signs. It is a beautiful route that you can easily extend to Wissen and back through the beautiful Mühlental to about 15 km.

Today we did a nice agricultural tour over some farms. From Winnersbach it went via Forsthaus Würden through the forest along the stream to the summit. Shortly before the summit we shortened a bit and walked 100 meters across country through the forest to the road that we crossed. Then it went back into the forest at the Hohhäuschen farm, downhill over the Busenbach farm, uphill again to Diedenberg and over Äpfelbach past the sawmill. Here it went back into the valley. We enjoyed some beautiful views along the way. The landscape is particularly attractive in summer when the many meadows are beautifully green and cows graze everywhere

Once up to the Giebelberg and walked down again over many narrow paths. It was partly because of the smoothness but beautiful. The further up you get, the more beautiful ❄❄❄

I once borrowed a tour from Angelika and extended it a bit. We really liked it. Thanks for the tip Angelika 👍🙂. The start is at the Niederfischbach zoo. It then goes uphill for a long time through the gable forest to almost the summit, where you have great views. The higher you get, the more beautiful the winter forest ❄❄❄ The many narrow paths and the Fischbacher Grubenwanderweg, which was partially blasted through rocks, are also beautiful. A really varied lap that I will certainly run more often.

Today we did a nice little snow hike. The start was in Locherhof near Harbach. It went over the Stöcker Hof to Oberstöcken and from there uphill to the top. Unfortunately, things don't go well from there, too much woodwork, not necessarily recommended. But it still went through the snow. On the Höhenweg it becomes beautiful again as soon as you get a view of the valley to the Stöcker Hof. The view is beautiful. Then we are in the direction of Plittershagen and finally in a curve back to Locherhof. The further path was easy to walk on and offers some beautiful views of Locherhof.

Today we did another short lap near Harbach with some beautiful views. Paths are sometimes muddy, but it didn't matter because my shoes were dirty from yesterday

Went uphill often today. Tried new paths, unfortunately the ascent on a 🐎 horse pasture in the cul-de-sac village of Langenbach was fenced and so I had to go downhill again. Of course, only after I was almost up there ☹😟 ... then looking for a new climb. This was no longer passable due to woodwork ... only mud 😨😰. That's why I stumbled across the country uphill over the numerous branches. A lot of mud and entire slopes were cut down above. So can't really recommend the trail, although there were also very nice sections and great views in the meantime.

Today again made a house round in the gable forest. First went into the valley and then uphill through a stream valley. I haven't walked the path for years and unfortunately I forgot that it is really steep, so it was a sporty tour.
