Today I used my day off and the great weather and did a little lap with my mom for a big look. Mostly it goes over asphalt along the Bigge lake. Up to the Biggeblick it then goes partly over gravel. Up there you have a wonderful view of the Waldenburg Bay with its ruins and also of the Biggedamm with its lighthouse (restaurant).

Today we were once again on the way in the Märkischer Kreis, there we went the circular hiking trail along the Wipper and Lingesetalsperre. The path is signposted with WL on a white background and a blue wave symbol. The signage left a lot to be desired in places, especially at some junctions it would have been helpful (a map is an advantage). Otherwise this hiking trail was very nice, a lot through the forest but short sections also went over asphalt. A little below the Lingesetalsperre is the Pagnia coffee roastery, which is ideal for a break (currently only to-go due to Corona).Oh yes, something is wrong with my GPS. Normally there is only a 191m difference in altitude and we didn't swim either. No where that is 🤔.

Today we hiked one of the Bergisch forays again, the Rösrather Bergbauweg (number 15). The highlights of the hike were certainly the two winding towers Franziska Schacht and Grube Lüderich, where there is now a golf course with an adjoining restaurant. The path is well signposted with the white 15 on a red background, sturdy (whole 😉) shoes are recommended.A little hint: Every now and then my GPS spins and this means that more kilometers and more meters in altitude are displayed during the recording. The route actually has 12.2km through a junction that we overlooked it was finally 14.6km and only 310m uphill instead of 780m 🤔🙈

This short hike, which the SGV has marked with the letter Q, leads to the headwaters of the Wiehl. The Wiehl rises on a southern branch of the Silberkuhle (515m) not far from the A4 motorway.
The small circular hiking trail leads from Hahn to just below the Wiehl source and then follows the small stream into the hamlet of Wiehl.
Note: Unfortunately, the spring is often not visible due to the dryness and difficult to grasp, but you will be rewarded with a great view.

Today I took a tour of and around Wilkenroth with my dear colleague. At the beginning the path led over asphalt and then it continued through forest and meadows. Due to the rainfall of the last few days there were also some muddy passages. The round was easy to master.

Today we went on the panorama tour Antoniusweg. The path is signposted with W3 and leads over the E1 and X2 as well as the Jakobusweg pilgrimage route in the direction of Oberkirchen. From the holy house of Saint Anthony the path leads to the nature reserve Kalte Kirche. Wonderful distant views line this beautiful hiking trail again and again, such as to the 818m high Hunau with its 174m high television tower, the Wilzenberg, which is also described as the sacred mountain of the Sauerland, as well as the most famous mountain of the Sauerland, the Kahler Asten. Some of the beautiful Sauerland villages can also be easily recognized from near and far from the Antoniusweg. From the hiking car park Ennest it goes back down to Westfeld.

Today we hiked the Kahler-Asten-Steig the Westfelder Golddorf Route, which has two certifications, a premium hiking trail and a dream tour.
The tour has a length of 16 km, through the access path from Landgasthof Schneider to the village park it is 18 km. From the village park it goes up to the barbecue area, before it goes over the valley path deep into the Schwarze Siepen. From the Kahler-Asten-Steig bridge, the path then leads in serpentines up to the hunting lodges. From there you continue over an old ravine through a small quarry to the Asten plateau with its heather. Past the Astenturm, the Lenne spring and the Westfelder Grenzstein, the path leads down into the Lennetal. You come across the hunting lodges one more time before you go uphill on the Vorderen Hohen Bone to the forest sofa on the Bone Peak. Past the treading pool, it goes to the Hoher Bone hiking car park. Now the path leads along the Hömberg to the hiking diary and on over a path back to the village park.

Today we went the A1 of the SGV Drolshagen department in Hützemert. 80 percent of the way led over asphalt, but this time we didn't find it so bad due to the rain that started at the beginning of the hike. The highlight of the hike is certainly the Wegeringhauser Tunnel (724m). This is closed from November to mid-April to protect the bats (there is an alternative route past the tunnel).
