Unfortunately, the tower had to be demolished and is currently under reconstruction. Construction is scheduled to be completed later this year. The way up to the tower is relatively steep and the bike may need to be pushed. Hiking

The Holzberg Tower is almost back up. However, the tower is no longer made of wood, but of steel. It also takes its name from the Holzberg on which it stands. It will have 140 steps and two platforms at heights of 16 and 24 meters. I was able to see first hand how the roof was put together. A lot of the work is being done on a voluntary basis, I could see from the information board. It should be possible to climb it again from May.
