Der Kellersee (Sielbeck)

It has a nice wide view over the Kellersee. The ferry house looked very inviting, but unfortunately we were not in it.

Wonderful view over the Kellersee and stopover in the Fährhaus Sielbeck.

The Kellersee is located directly in front of the door Sielbeck and opens in the south to Fissau, the next town in the direction of the East Holstein district town of Eutin and in the west to Bad Malente. The run of the Schwentine leads through the Kellersee and connects it with other lakes in the Holstein Switzerland.The approximately 540 ha large and up to 25.5 m deep lake is managed by the fishery Schwarten. The Kellersee offers a variety of recreational opportunities.
On a distance of 14.9 km you can walk around the lake or cycle around. If you want to take it easy, then you can fish from the shore or from the boat, or sit down with coffee and cake in the Uklei Fährhaus, or visit Heiko Schwarten's fishing hut.
In any case, great nature and relaxation is guaranteed.
