From Freudenstadt, it's a quarter of an hour to Lake Langenwald – if you have the time, you should visit it. From the shore, the water's surface shimmers, depending on the light, from mysterious to cloudy, and you can let your thoughts wander. The Black Forest is so relaxing.

A beautiful place with some very nice corners to "let your soul unwind" and a starting point for many great hikes and a direct connection to the bus line (#100 - almost every hour during the day) Freudenstadt - Kniebis - Alexanderschanze - Ruhestein. This means that you can start or end many tours here and don't always have to look for circular routes or walk back the same way.
