Hiking
Idyllically located square: the fountain and bench are a bit in the background. Here you will not be discovered immediately by hikers who cross the stream straight over the small bridge only to disappear into the forest on the ascending path.

Hiking
The Hasborner Sauerbrunnen is located directly on the bank of the Sammetbach on the "Zwei-Bächte-Path" and is a spring emerging from Devonian rocks. The spring water is brown in color and has a sour taste. Dissolved iron is responsible for the color and volcanic carbon dioxide for the taste. A ladle hangs in the fountain with which the water can be tasted (Eifel.info).
I can confirm the sour taste.
