Just one of many beautiful and well-kept places to rest on the "2-Bäch-Path" 👌😃 !!!

"The 2-Bäche-Path is a partner path of the Eifelsteig and belongs to the group of Vulkaneifel-Paths. This feeder path to the Eifelsteig is characterized above all by its alpine landscape between Niederscheidweiler and Hasborn, as well as a constant change from up and down the valley The plateaus are usually used for agriculture, while the steep slopes are characterized by wild forests. The 2-Bäch-Path is a 14km long circular hike, the path of which is permanently accompanied by the brooks Alf and Sammet.
The 2 Streams Path begins in the small town of Hasborn. Here one should not forget to visit the beautiful Hasborner Sauerbrunnen. This is located directly on the banks of the Sammetbach. This is a source emerging and contained in Devonian rocks. A visit to the more than 400-year-old oak grove, which is unique in its form in Germany, is also a must.
The 2 streams path initially leads us in a northerly direction. Here we move in an alternation of alpine landscape and wild forest in the untouched nature of this Vulkaneifel path. In the background we hear the pleasant murmur of the two streams Alf and Sammet, which will be our constant companions during the 2-stream path. After some time we reach Oberscheidweiler.
The small town of Oberscheidweiler, on the edge of the Vulkaneifel, also offers the opportunity to stop off at the Oberscheidweiler Mühle. After this short break, the 2-stream path now leads us further north through a piece of untouched nature before we turn right and head south. After a short time we come across another place in the Vulkaneifel called Niederscheidweiler.
In Niederscheidweiler, the 2-Bäche-Path invites us to a short visit to the historic village church of St. Hubertus. We are now headed further in a south-westerly direction and enjoy the sound of Alf and Sammet with their seemingly endless meanders. After a short time, the 2-Bäch-Path leads us back to our starting point, the lovely town of Hasborn."
